Surprise teen adventure trip heading to spring training game

Teens 12 to 17 can see Royals play Diamondbacks

Surprise has scheduled an upcoming teen adventure to Surprise Stadium with a spring training game between the hometown Arizona Diamondbacks and the Kansas City Royals, one of two home teams in Surprise.

The trip for teens ages 12 to 17 leaves from Sierra Montana Rec Center, 14861 N. Spring Lane, at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 9.

The cost for residents is $25, or it’s $30 for non-residents.

The day includes transportation, lawn seat admission, and a choice of a two-piece chicken tender meal with tots or a hot dog, small drink and chips.

Surprise Stadium is a cashless venue for those who plan to purchase additional snacks, drinks or souvenirs.

Space is limited, pre-registration is required and additional waivers must be completed.
