Surprise subcommittee wants to help The Vista marketing

Group votes to spend $25,000 to help attract tourists

A Surprise tourism subcommittee is asking the city to spend up to $25,000 to help the Dysart Unified School District promote events at The Vista Center for the Arts.

The Surprise Tourism Fund Subcommittee voted March 3 to recommend the Surprise City Council approve spending the money to help bring more visitors to the city.

The Vista, as it’s called for short, is at 15660 N. Parkview Place on the campus of Valley Vista High School. It brings in dozens of professional shows each year since rebranding in 2020.
