Surprise students earn college honors

The following Surprise residents recently received college academic honors:

• Alanis Delgado of Surprise made the the spring 2022 dean’s list at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kan.

• Katherine Harmon of Surprise made the dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester at Rockhurst University, a Catholic university in Kansas City, Mo.

• Veronica Medina of Surprise graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Durham in late May. Medina graduated with high honors and earned a AAS degree in veterinary technology.

• Abigay Gonzalez of Surprise earned a bachelor of business administration degree from The University of Dubuque during the Iowa school’s 170th commencement ceremonies Saturday, April 30.

• Anna M. Myers of Surprise was named a presidential scholar at the University of Central Arkansas for spring 2022. Myers is a communication sciences and disorders major.

• Ariel Adrianna Hatton, a senior from Surprise studying supply chain management at Iowa State University, was named to the spring semester 2022 dean’s list.
