The city of Surprise not only kicked off its holiday season with a community party but offered an opportunity for families and friends to spend quality time together.
The annual Surprise Holiday Party, held on Friday and Saturday night, Dec. 1 and 2, featured foam snow flurries, food trucks, a vendor village, kid zone, photo opportunities in Santa’s Workshop and throughout the lit, iridescent setting at Surprise Recreation Campus, 15960 N. Bullard Avenue.
Various activities/entertainment was lined up for the free holiday party, which included live performances, stilt walkers and more. There was the holiday tree-lighting ceremony for the 36-foot-tall, 18,000-light musical Christmas tree; live musical performances by The Hamptons, and other local talent showcased during the two day event.
