Surprise sets stage for music festival

Attractions, food, carnival awaits festival-goers

Surprise’s long-awaited signature event is finally here.

The Bases and Brews Music Fest, featuring headliners Andy Grammer, Chris Lane, Walk the Moon and Lovelytheband, kicks off this weekend at Mark Coronado Park to end the spring training season in Surprise.

The three-day festival, held Friday, March 24 through Sunday, March 26, will feature more than live music, as a carnival experience is coming to the Surprise park just north of Surprise Stadium.
