A video presentation sharing the story of Surprise will highlight this year’s State of the City event at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
The city has released details about the Thursday, March 30 event.
The video will premiere inside the Council Chambers from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
After the video premiere, the event moves to the City Hall first floor and outside courtyard for the City Showcase from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The Showcase includes a celebration of the city’s programs and services, including police and fire vehicle displays.
Dysart Unified School District students will provide entertainment and city-run specialty classes will be available, as well as complimentary refreshments.
The State of the City video premiere will also be carried live and rebroadcast on Surprise TV and online at surpriseaz.gov/surprisetv. It will also be live streamed on the city of Surprise Facebook page.
