Surprise is offering several dropoff locations for residents to dispose of their Christmas trees and large holiday packaging conveniently and safely.
Holiday cardboard dropoff is available Dec. 26 through 30 and Jan. 2 through 6 at the Public Works North Yard, 17274 N. Litchfield Road., between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Bring your boxes, preferably already broken down.
Christmas tree dropoff lots are open from Dec. 27 through Jan. 17 at the following locations:
Bi-Centennial Park, 16705 N. Nash St. (south end of the parking lot)
Surprise Recreation Campus / Youth Baseball Complex, 15795 N. Parkview Pl. (across from Valley Vista High School)
Dick McComb Softball Park, 17894 W. Westpark Blvd. (parking lot on the corner of 180th Avenue & Westpark Boulevard)
Asante Community Park, 16763 W. Vereda Solana Dr. (parking lot at the north end of the park)
Make sure to remove all decorations before arriving.
