Surprise resident: Don’t fight with ICE officers

OPINION — Are self-respect and dignity still valid attributes? My husband taught our son that you don’t argue with a cop; he’s just doing his job — and often risking his/her life in the process. You present your case to the judge for a hearing.

ICE officers are just doing their jobs. If they do it incorrectly, a judge should handle it. I have actively protested and marched for many causes — always respectfully and with dignity. Law-abiding people should never fight with officers, verbally or physically. That in itself would preclude these incidents of unintended consequences.
