Surprise P&Z to discuss residential rezone along Grand
Nearly 11-acre strip is near Happy Valley Road
A developer is asking for more commercial space along Grand Avenue in north Surprise.
The Surprise Planning and Zoning Commission at its next meeting Thursday, March 17 will discuss and possibly vote on a rezone change from rural residential to community commercial for approximately 10.66 gross acres located west of the intersection of Grand and Happy Valley Road.
There is no planned development for the strip of land, but owner Tung Tran filed in city documents that it would be easier for him to market the land as commercial.
