Surprise Pops Band plays annual Shadow Ridge show
Posted
The Surprise Pops Band will perform its spring concert, starting at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 26 at Shadow Ridge High School, 10909 N. Perryville Road.
The event’s theme is “A Time Goes By: Favorites from TV’s Golden Era,” and will include music from Paul Simon, Legends of Soul and other fun songs.
Doors open at 2:15 p.m.
The concert is free. However, non-perishable food donations to support the Valley View Community Food Bank are requested and appreciated.
The Surprise Pops Band began with a handful of musicians who gathered in Clancy Wolf’s garage to make music. From this small group the band has grown to nearly 100 members.
