Surprise police seek the public’s help in identifying a suspect from an incident in early February.
The crime occurred Feb. 4 at a local business in the area of 13700 West Bell Road in Surprise.
According to police, a white male suspect exited the store while pushing a cart loaded with items he did not pay for.
The total value of stolen merchandise was listed at about $2,300.
According to investigators, the suspect has been involved in similar thefts throughout the West Valley.
The man has gray hair and mustache, and was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved t-shirt with an American Flag imprinted on the front, blue jean pants, and brown work boots.
Store security believe he may have fled in an unknown white passenger vehicle.
Anyone with any information leading to the location or identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective Forbrook at 623-222-4182, or call 623-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be emailed to crimetips@surpriseaz.gov.
