Surprise OKs digital billboards on Loop 303 stretch

“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” was an Academy Award winning drama from 2017.

But three billboards in Surprise, Arizona, had its own theatrics when the Surprise City Council approved them at its Oct. 19 meeting.

Spoiler alert: The City Council approved the three billboards on a half-mile stretch of Loop 303 in north Surprise despite outspoken objection from a couple of dozen nearby residents of Corte Bella, on the other side of the highway from Surprise.
