Surprise may be loosening rules on A-frame signs

If any business could use more visibility, it’s Spencer Place, 15341 W. Waddell Road.

The locally owned coffee shop opened just five weeks before coronavirus shutdowns last spring and was never able to afford to put a sign on the building.

And because the shop is tucked in a corner of the Bashas’ shopping center at Waddell and Reems roads it’s not visible to motorists.
