Surprise looking to stop wild animal feeding on city land

Officials want to shoo pigeons from Community Park

The city of Surprise has erected several signs around its Community Lake notifying people to not feed the animals there.

It turns out the city doesn’t want those signs to be merely a suggestion.

To show they mean business, city officials are pushing to put that rule in the city code to add penalties for anybody who feeds any animal on city property.
