The City of Surprise held an American Business Women’s Day celebration Sept. 22 at the West Valley Arts Council’s Arts HQ Gallery, 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza.
American Business Women’s Day is an annual event celebrated Sept. 22 to recognize and honor the accomplishments and contributions of women in the business world. This local event paid tribute to the women in business within the city who contribute to its vibrancy and success.
Guests heard from Mayor Skip Hall and Economic Development Director Jeanine Jerkovic, and there was a keynote address from Sintra Hoffman, President and CEO of WESTMARC.
The day coincided with National Bakery Day and the following local businesses provided beverages and treats to attendees: Ground Shaker Coffee Bar, My Daddy's Italian Bakery & Café, The Boyer Bakery and Valley Keto.
