Surprise has 20th best credit in state

Study says Sun City West is 2nd best nationally

A new WalletHub study focused on credit scores during the time of a pandemic shows Surprise is somewhat in the middle of the pack in Arizona.

A study of Transunion credit scores in September shows Surprise residents own an average score of 700, which puts it 20th among other Arizona areas and 1,159th in the nation.

Residents in Sun City West, however, are tied for the second highest credit scores in the nation with an average of 789.
