Woman has fostered 38 kids, adopted 6 of them

Surprise resident Lindsay Blum grew up in a small family in Massachusetts with only a half-brother as a sibling.

She never knew she wanted a big clan of her own, but she started one  anyway.

The single mom in the Sierra Montana neighborhood has fostered 38 children during the past 14 years and adopted six of them, many of them developmentally disabled.
