Surprise families get treats from G.A.I.N. community event

Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Ave., was the setting for a myriad of families from Surprise who participated in the Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (G.A.I.N.) celebration.

The Surprise Police and Fire-Medical departments played host to the three-hour interactive community event Oct. 29.

The free event had various refreshments, family-friendly activities, including trick or treating, a gaming trailer, laser tag, live music, public safety displays and more.
