Surprise entertains marijuana dispensary's return to city

Community meeting set for Aug. 23

Surprise is possibly venturing into the marijuana business again.

A few years after losing its only marijuana dispensary to Sun City, Surprise is entertaining allowing another one in a new building at the northwest corner of Bell and Dysart roads.

A development project neighborhood meeting has been scheduled to get public input on a use-only conditional use permit to allow a dual license dispensary up to 5,000 gross square feet.
