Surprise councilmember successfully runs used bookstore for good causes

Cline turns Friends of Surprise Libraries into powerful tool

Before she was a city councilmember, Aly Cline wanted to figure out a way to expand hours at the Hollyhock Library in the Original Town Site.

He told Cline and her husband Gary, who is the group’s treasurer, that it would cost about $25,000 a year.
