Surprise chef is helping feed seniors in their homes

Cook for rock stars now serving elderly community

Holly Ulseth of Peoria simply doesn’t like cooking anymore at age 77. Even worse than that, she said, is constantly coming up with what to make her husband.

“I’m trying really hard to eat well,” Ulseth said. “But at this point in my life, I’m out of ideas.”

Ulseth and her husband, Tom, had signed up from some of the fresh-meals-at-home services, like Hello Fresh. But they were underwhelmed to say the least.
