Surprise Chamber changes name back to Northwest Valley

Business group drops city name for regional flair

The Surprise Regional Chamber of Commerce announced it is now going by its original name, the Northwest Valley Chamber of Commerce.

President and CEO Raoul Sada made the announcement last week during a networking breakfast with the mayors of Surprise and Youngtown.

Until 2020, Surprise was giving the chamber office space and subsidies, but the city dropped its partnership as the chamber changed its business model from networking events to legislative advocacy.
