Surprise asking residents about arts, culture interests

Posted

The city of Surprise wants to learn more about residents’ interests and participation in arts and culture in an online survey.

Responses will help the city’s Arts, Culture and Library Department support the community’s needs and identify new ways to create a vibrant and engaging arts and culture scene.

The arts and culture survey will take less than five minutes and is available at surpriseaz.gov/artssurvey. The survey runs through Sunday, July 23.

Those who are interested in sharing more thoughts and ideas can attend one of an Arts and Culture Strategic Planning Focus Groups in the Surprise Regional Library Community Room, 16089 N. Bullard Ave. Those meetings are from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 6 and Thursday, July 13.

Head to surpriseaz.gov/arts for public art and more arts and culture events? For questions or information, contact Julie.Akerly@surpriseaz.gov, or call 623-222-2920.
