Surprise art exhibit springs into bloom

The West Valley Arts Council will have an opening reception of the sixth annual Floral and Botanical art exhibit from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 9. The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

The West Valley Arts Council will have an opening reception of the sixth annual Floral and Botanical art exhibit from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 9. The reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
Over 90 pieces have been selected for the exhibit and include a wide range of styles and techniques. Many of the featured artists attend the reception, and the majority of pieces on display are available for purchase.
The West Valley Arts HQ is located at 16126 N. Civic Center Plaza, Surprise. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Floral & Botanical exhibit runs from March 9-April 21. There is no charge to visit the gallery.
This exhibit is sponsored by The City of Surprise, EPCOR, National Endowment for the Arts and Arizona Commission on the Arts.
