Surprise ambush assault brings charges under Preston's Law

Six teens are facing charges for April house party fight

Six juveniles who were arrested after a violent house part in Surprise in April will be charged under Arizona’s Preston’s Law.

Surprise Police announced the arrest of three more juveniles for the beating of a 15-year-old boy at a pool party on April 4 near Sarival Avenue and Greenway Road.

Police wrote in a statement Wednesday the investigation into the assault of the Surprise teen remains active, adding “our detectives continue to make significant progress.”
