Imagine Prep eighth-grader Kayd Hintz is like most kids his age. The 13-year-old likes to play video games and hang out with his friends.

But unlike his peers, Kayd is already getting a celebration of his life.

That’s because Kayd doesn’t have much time to live. He has terminal brain cancer that has spread to his spine.
