The opposition to consolidation of EPCOR Water Co. wastewater districts will continue to be heard.
The Arizona Supreme Court granted a petition for review filed by the Sun City Home Owners Association and will hear the merits of the case. The court set a deadline of March 23 for filing of supplemental briefs and will hear oral arguments May 18.
Jim Hunter, SCHOA board president, said the court’s agreement to hear the case does not guarantee the consolidation will be reversed, but believed it was a good sign for Sun Cities ratepayers.
