This means many Democrats, who’d voted for the party candidates in the past, won’t be ready to do so again. Their principles haven’t changed and many of the issues that most concerned them in the past have now been coopted by the Republican party.
The two main parties have shifted dramatically over the last 17 years, particularly under Trump’s leadership. For example, ask yourself, how happy would JFK be if he’d voted for Obama and then watched how far left he would take the country? Of course, the Democrats didn’t stop the slide to the left with Obama. Currently, there isn’t a natural leader in the party however, those who are loud and vocal nationally are Socialists or blatant Communists.
So, for those who have followed politics over the years, they’ve seen the failure of socialism and communism in England, the Soviet Union, Cuba and now Venezuela. The USA doesn’t need to try it one more time just to prove it doesn’t work.
