A canopy to be constructed over recreational vehicle parking at Gold Canyon Self Storage can be 2 feet higher than was approved in 2017, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors decided recently.
The board voted unanimously Jan. 27 to approve a major planned area development amendment to modify a stipulation, raising the maximum height of structures for the covered RV parking from 14 feet to 16 feet. The 3.5-acre business is at 7387 E. U.S. Highway 60.
It is an Extra Space Storage site, according to its website.
