The members of Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club have donated more than $8,500 in gift cards, 250-plus toys and more to help families this holiday season.
The local Head Start program served as the main beneficiary and donations were also given to support the Apache Junction Police Department Toy Drive and to the Boys and Girls Clubs, according to a release.
In addition to toys and gift cards, the Superstition Mountain members put together 100 stockings filled with personal care for the children.
