By Jeremy Carr
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” plays through April 16 at Arizona Broadway Theatre, 7701 W. Paradise Lane.
According to Arizona Broadway Theatre’s website, “Jesus Christ Superstar” highlights the last week of Jesus’ life seen through the eyes of his betrayer, Judas. It is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary series of biblical events, and an award-winning rock opera score with songs like, “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Superstar.”
Jesus Christ Superstar is presented through an exclusive arrangement with R & H Theatricals and Two Knights Right Limited. Arizona Broadway Theatre is in its twelfth season.
