Suns working to create family atmosphere with ex-players

Gratitude and appreciation can be seen during some Phoenix Suns games this season — but from an unlikely source.

Last year, Suns officials welcomed back former Phoenix players and coaches — about 60 people — to the Footprint Center as part of culture-building event during the first home game of the NBA playoffs.

This season, the likes of Charles Barkley, Kevin Johnson and Steve Nash came back to the arena as part of an event where new Suns Ring of Honor banners were unveiled on Oct. 28.
