More changes are coming for the Suns, according to owner Mat Ishbia, who held an end-of-season press conference Thursday in Phoenix.
The Suns finished the season 36-46 and No.11 in the standings just outside the NBA Play-In Tournament. The team was touted by Suns brass and NBA experts alike as a championship contender at the beginning of the season. The team started with an 8-1 record.
Ishbia called the Suns season “a failure” and “embarassing” and not fun to watch during the press conference at the team’s practice facility.
