Sun Devil Auto and Wilhelm Automotive, portfolio brands of Sun Auto Tire & Service, recently announced that their 15th annual Toys for Tots donation drive this year will include a matching donation of up to $2,000.
All Phoenix-area locations are collecting new, unwrapped gifts through Monday, Dec. 13, according to a release.
Sun Devil Auto has Mesa locations at 1932 N. Power Road, 3930 E. Main St. and 120 W. Baseline Road; a Tempe location at 1824 E. Elliot Road; and one in Queen Creek at 21430 S. Ellsworth Road.
“For the past 14 years, we have collected toys to deliver hope to less fortunate children during the holiday season. Last December, we invited Wilhelm Automotive to participate, and together, we collected over 2,000 toys, setting a new record,” Chris Doster, market leader for Sun Devil Auto, said in the release. “These past 18 months have been difficult on all of us, and we hope that by setting a goal of 4,000 toys this year, we can help to further spread Christmas spirit to these deserving youth.”
Cumulatively, the brands have donated more than 35,000 toys since participating in the program. This year, the company is offering an added incentive: each customer who donates a toy will receive a $- off service voucher to use on their next visit.
These donation events are presented as part of Sun Auto Tire & Service’s “Accelerating Success” charitable giving program. Announced this year, the program ensures that the brand’s communities receive assistance from those who are passionate about their success, the release states.
Sun Auto Tire & Service operates 230 tire and service stores across Washington, Virginia, Texas, Arizona, California, Oklahoma and Nevada.
