A man who was shot by a family member while attempting to break into his parents Sun City West home may face criminal charges in the incident, but no one else will, according to officials.
Charges are being submitted to theMaricopa County Attorney's Office in relation to the man who attempted to break in while the man's father, who is believed to have shot his son, is not facing charges at this time, wrote Sgt. Monica Bretado with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in an email to the Sun City West Independent media request.
Neither man has been identified yet by authorities.
