Sun City West Foundation officials are gearing up to serve community residents with the free AARP Tax Aide Program to electronically file both federal and state tax returns.
The foundation is donating use of its Palo Verde room in the foundation's building, 14465 W. R.H. Johnson Blvd., for the exclusive use of the tax volunteers Thursday, Feb. 1 – Sunday, April 14.
Tax preparation starts in February 2024, but the appointment website opens noon Monday, Jan. 15. Individuals must have an appointment to see one of the trained AARP tax-aide volunteers and an AARP membership is not needed to use this free service.
