Sun City West officials are attempting to keep local pools safe and using Maricopa County regulations to do so amid complaints about clutter on the pool deck.
Water quality, pool filters and pool safety are among the specifics monitored by Maricopa County, and Recreation Center of Sun City West are focusing on all of them, particularly safety around the edge of the pool.
The issue arose after residents complained after they noticed an inconsistency in some pool monitoring with items left on the pool deck close to the water’s edge.
