A satellite food bank operation in Sun City West is seeing increasing demand, and not just from inside the community.
With food prices remaining high, seniors and families in the community and surrounding areas looking for assistance are hitting the Valley View Community Food Bank Sun City West Food Pantry, 14465 W. R.H. Johnson Blvd., in the Powell Room of the Foundation Building, to fulfill their needs every Monday.
The pantry is open 9 a.m.-1 p.m., however it will be closed Oct. 9 in honor of Columbus Day.
