Members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts, & More have multiple opportunities to learn how to make many one-of-a-kind card designs and techniques from their fellow members.

Member Julie Eide recently taught the Twisted Ribbon card. Using double-sided designer paper, a ruler and scissors, the paper was cut into ribbon-like strips and then folded in a pre-determined formation to create a lattice like design.

The paper crafters then embellished their cards with stamped images or a die cut greeting (or both) and added ribbon, fabric flower or gem embellishments in complementary colors to accent the unique cut paper pattern.

Learn how to make greeting cards, papercrafts and scrapbooks (traditional or digital) by joining SPAM in the Beardsley Center’s Agave Room on Wednesdays (5-9 p.m.), Thursdays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), Fridays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 a.m.-5 p.m.).
