Sun City West club makes greeting cards

Members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts, & More make one-of-a-kind cards all year long and offer several classes to learn the basics.

New members of SPAM will be able to take a Cardmaking Basics class Friday, Dec. 1; attendees will learn how to operate necessary tools such as a paper trimmer and a score board to prepare cardstock and paper for various card bases. A class using stamps to create images and designs on a card will be offered Saturday, Dec. 2, and a demonstration using the Sizzix Big Shot and the Cuttlebug die cutting machines is Saturday, Dec. 9.

All classes start at 11 a.m. in the Beardsley center’s Agave Room.
