Sun City thrift stores extend shopping hours

Could go beyond summer

Sun City thrift store shoppers will have a chance to browse a little more in the Sun Bowl Plaza with some extended hours.

The shopping center is predominantly thrift stores and nine will participate in the program. The extended hours will be 5-8 p.m. the third Thursday of each month through the summer. The program begins June 15.

“This is a big change from our usual closing time of 3 p.m.,” said Lynn Morey of the Lutheran Thrift Shop.
