Sun City sees lower crimes

Numbers down across board

Capt. Brian Stutsman, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 3 commander, went to the Sun City Posse general membership meeting bearing good news.

Stutsman told Posse members during their March 7 meeting that crime numbers were down in the community during February. He said there were only 20 burglaries during the month and just 81 total calls for criminal activity.

“We’re pretty happy to see those numbers,” Stutsman said.
