A few Sun City residents have raised concerns about someone going through neighborhoods and stealing property.
One of the first incidents appears to have occurred Tuesday, March 7 near 99th Avenue and Hutton Drive near Bell Road.
According to a resident on Nextdoor, a friend and her neighbor saw a man in his mid-20's park a red GMC late model Sierra with license plate BRW8274 outside of her house.
The man removed a bicycle from the back and rode it around the neighborhood. He then returned, put the bike in the back of his truck and sped off.
The resident on Nextdoor said another friend had her husband's caregiver beaten up by a young man near the area as well.
"Twice I have seen a red truck cruising and then accelerating very loudly around Hutton Ave/Orchard Hills," she said on Nextdoor.
Another resident reported someone attempting to breaking into her car. She is not sure when it happened, but it occurred at her home between 91st and 99th avenues and Thunderbird and Greenway roads.
"I thought my husband was working on it until today when he mentioned it to me," she said.
It is unknown if the incidents are related, but the victims have reported them to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
