Sun City resident embraces Diamondbacks

Collection began with a bobblehead

The passion for the Arizona Diamondbacks did not start aboard the bandwagon for Ron Yankowski. It has been years and much money in the making.

Yankowski began his baseball obsession as a Brooklyn Dodgers fan and remembers standing on a public sidewalk in New York watching the team’s World Series win through a shop window.

Yankowski and his wife, Suzanne, moved to Arizona 10 years ago. It was a few years later Ron got his hands on his first Diamondbacks bobblehead and the rest is history.
