Sun City Posse program enhances safety

RUOK checks on residents regularly

As temperatures begin to rise in Sun City, some homebound residents who live alone could find themselves in a vulnerable situation and in need of help.

If they are living alone and have no relatives checking on them daily, they could experience a fall or other health issue at home that could endanger them. However, a Sun City Posse program can help enhance homebound residents’ safety.

The RUOK program is up and running, despite the coronavirus pandemic. During this time of heightened health issues, the program could be more important than ever, according to Vicki Foelsch, program coordinator.
