Sun City Posse hosts dog walkers safety presentation

The Sun City Posse is hosting local dog walkers for a safety and awareness presentation 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Posse Headquarters, 10861 W. Sunland Drive. There is no cost to attend.

Attendees are invited to arrive early. Beginning at 8:30 a.m. there will be information tables with representatives from Duffeeland Dog Club and Best Friends Dog Club available to distribute materials and answer questions.

Information will include presentations from Sun City Posse and MCSO personnel. The program also offers a review of individual dog walker safety points as well as tips to increase awareness of local neighborhood safety.

The Posse workshop is intended to provide information to enhance the walkers’ awareness, to review various observation tools and to provide contact information when something unusual is observed.
