A shooting incident in Sun City last week left one person dead.
Some time before 7:30 p.m. April 25, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call in the 9200 block of West Briarwood Circle for two adult males in a physical altercation. A shooting resulted from the altercation and one man was killed.
Deputies later learned the two men were neighbors and had a long history of feuding. Deputies later arrested Thomas Bartolone, 71, and charged him with manslaughter and discharging a firearm within a city.
