Barring any weather delays as the Monsoon season draws near, Pacific Aquascapes officials expect to begin refilling Viewpoint Lake Friday, Aug. 4.
The project was delayed at least 30 days from the original schedule late last year and early this year due to some rain events. But since then there have only been a couple of wind storms that displaced some liner, according to Cory Severson, Pacific Aquascapes president during a May 31 update meeting.
“We were able to replaces those fairly quickly and we are anchoring the liner a little better now,” he said.
