Sun City & Sun City West Senior Expos still key during pandemic

Support local businesses by hopping on live meetings

The annual Sun City Senior Expo, postponed due to closures at Sundial Recreation Centers, will be hosting a Virtual Advice Event for seniors, Thursday, April 30 on the Daily and Sun City Independent at YourValley.net

This interactive and “live” event brings Q&A discussions between trusted businesses and our senior community.

The Virtual Advice Event will offer the chance for residents to visit business websites and view online conversations with local presenters – via applications such as Zoom, Go-to Meeting, Webex and others. Participating businesses will have specific times during which they will speak live and answer questions.  Click on the Virtual Event link and then click on the business square to link to the live event. Events are different times throughout the day on April 30.

Businesses that are unable to be “live” during the virtual event will still provide questions and answers regarding a variety of important topics. Seniors will have multiple options: click into the website, watch a video, chat or email questions, schedule future appointments, make purchases and more.

A special print section complimenting the virtual advice event was published in the Daily and Sun City Independent. It can be found here.

“We're hosting this Sun City Senior Virtual Advice Event as an added opportunity for our Senior Expo businesses to connect with our senior audience, without them leaving their home,” said Barbara Wandling, Independent Newsmedia's events manager.

There is no additional cost for participating Sun City Senior Expo businesses.

For more information, email Barb at Bwandling@newszap.com or call 623-208-7866.
