It started as an online Facebook group evolved to a chartered Recreation Centers of Sun City club because it outgrew its meeting locations.
The Sun City Frat Club gained chartered club status and was assigned their own space for twice monthly meetings. The group meets 10:30 a.m. the second Wednesday each month and 4:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday at Lakeview Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd.
What is a frat club and why did it grow so quickly? Hadley Starkey, one of the group’s spearheads, said the name is a play on the word fraternize.
